In 1967, the Pi Sigma Epsilon National Educational Foundation was created to allow individuals and organizations the opportunity to support sales and marketing education and in-depth understanding of the free-enterprise system while encouraging high scholastic achievement. This public, non-profit Foundation operates under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code exclusively for charitable and educational pursuits.

Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management ( JPSSM ), published on behalf of The PI SIGMA EPSILON National Educational Foundation, is positioned as the premier journal internationally that is devoted to the publication of peer-reviewed articles in the field of sales management and selling. In JPSSM , we publish contributions of high quality that deal with new issues, topics, methodologies, theories, concepts, tools, models or applications in sales and selling. Publications have to represent leading-edge, state-of-the-art and original work. Our aim is to increase our understanding of selling and sales management, contribute to fostering education in this domain, encourage knowledge transfer between science and practice, and the identification of issues and shaping of ideas associated with sales and selling as a company’s single or most important revenue-generating function.
JPSSM is open to consider submissions from all over the world, dealing with important and timely issues in selling and sales management, and publishes work based on a variety of theories or methodologies. Nevertheless, publications in this journal have to be conceptually and methodologically rigorous, and at the same time represent substantial contributions to the field of sales and selling.
Mu Kappa Tau National Marketing Honor Society was founded in 1966 by members of Pi Sigma Epsilon, the National, Professional Fraternity in Marketing, Sales Management and Selling. It was through commitment to the advancement of study in the field of marketing and the developing need for recognition of academic excellence within the marketing discipline that Mu Kappa Tau was created.
MKT is the only marketing specific honor society accredited by the Association of College Honor Societies.
Mu Kappa Tau exists to recognize academic excellence and to encourage individuals seeking a life-long commitment to an exceptional standard of ethics and achievement within the marketing milieu. Since standards of excellence and goals of achievement are indispensable to progress, Mu Kappa Tau believes outstanding scholastic achievement should be a high priority for every marketing student, and thus works toward this end.
Scholarships are presented annually to members of PSE and MKT who have achieved individual accomplishments in academic performance, leadership, community service, campus engagement and related activities.
Needs-based financial support is also available to students to access PSE membership, educational resources, events and competitions.
