The National Speakers Competition, presented by Enterprise Holdings, features a preliminary round where you will send in a video presenting the prompt and the top scores will move on to the final round.
The competition recognizes outstanding student members who have mastered skills in the areas of self-presentation and verbal communication by making a public speaking presentation in a competitive setting.

REGIONAL SPEAKERS COMPETITION DETAILS
- First round is virtual; Finalists will advance to in-person round during your Regional Conference
- Prizes include complimentary National Convention registration ($450 value), cash, and an opportunity to emcee at the 2024 PSE National Convention in St. Louis, MO
IMPORTANT DATES
- Video Submission Deadline: 3 Weeks before Regional Conference
- Finalists announced: 1 Week before Regional Conference
- Live Final Round: Friday Night at Regional Conference
FORMAT
- Inspirational Speech (Think “TED Talk”!)
- 5-7 Minute Presentation
- First Round: Pre-Recorded Video Submission
- Final Round: Live Presentation at Regional Conference
- Finalists will receive written feedback prior to final round
- One double-sided 3×5 Index Notecard is allowed for Final Presentation
- No Visual Aids will be allowed
