COMPLETE YOUR FIRST BIG REPORT
The schedule for this event is based on the A-1 COG report. There is a direct correlation between chapter success in the National Awards Program and COG standings when evaluating how much effort goes into this report.
The Winter Officer Retreat helped me gain a better understanding of how to properly run an effective eboard. As I was previously in the position of Vice President of Professional Development, I had some what of an understanding of what to do in that position but I didn’t know exactly what all the other positions did. As I transitioned into the Co-President role, I had to understand what all the positions do and how we collaborate together to create valuable content and learning experiences for our members to develop and grow. This retreat helped me learn about all the executive board positions and how I will be able to support them as President. Attending this retreat and any other events that Headquarters puts on is extremely valuable and without their help and support we would not be able to continue making gold standing each year.
