What is the Leadership Summit?
The Pi Sigma Epsilon Leadership Summit is the premier event for chapter leaders from across the nation to come together to collaborate, dream, and prepare for the upcoming academic year.Â

Who Should Attend?
It is encouraged that the chapter Presidents, Vice Presidents of Human Resources, and Chapter Advisors attend. While the content will be beneficial to all Executive Board members, this year’s Summit includes important updates and tools specifically tailored to support the President and Vice President of Human Resources in leading their chapters to a successful year ahead. Their active participation will help set the tone and direction for the entire chapter.
We understand that unexpected conflicts can arise. In the rare case that the President or Vice President of Human Resources is unable to attend, another Executive Board member may be designated to attend in their place. If no Executive Board members are available, a general member with a strong interest in leadership may attend instead. All substitutions must be pre-approved by PSE HQ in order to receive complimentary registration and hotel accommodations.
Faculty Advisors are also welcome to join us!

9:00–9:10 AM – Welcome & Event Overview: Kick off the day with an overview of what to expect, key objectives, and how to make the most of the Leadership Summit experience. We'll set the stage for a productive day focused on preparing your chapter for a successful year ahead.Â

9:10–9:40 AM – Recruitment Strategy Overview: Recruitment is the lifeblood of every chapter. Join us for a high-level overview of recruitment resources, planning considerations, and strategies to help position your chapter for a successful fall recruitment season. You'll leave with a better understanding of available tools, support, and next steps for your chapter.Â

9:40–10:00 AM – Local Pro-Am Case & Fall Case Announcement: Learn about this year's brand-new initiative – the Local Pro-Am Case Competition and get an exclusive first look at the Fall Case Competition. We'll cover expectations, timelines, and tips to help your chapter prepare for success.Â

10:00–10:15 AM – PSE Events Preview: What's Ahead This Year: Get a high-level look at the exciting year ahead, including our 75th Anniversary National Convention, Fall Conferences, competitions, key dates, important announcements, and opportunities available to your chapter. Be sure to save the dates and start planning for an exciting year in PSE!Â

10:15–10:30 AM – Break
10:30–11:15 AM – Leadership Session: Motivation & Retention - Getting people to show up is easy. Getting them to care—and stay engaged—is the real challenge. This session explores what drives intrinsic motivation and gives you practical tools to move your chapter from apathy to genuine ownership, action, and long-term commitment. Learn how to create an environment where members feel valued, connected to the mission, and inspired to contribute, while uncovering the factors that quietly lead members to disengage and walk away. You'll leave with strategies to strengthen chapter culture, increase retention, and develop the next generation of leaders.Â

11:15–11:30 AM – Leadership Session Breakout Activity: Put the session ideas into action through small-group discussions focused on real chapter challenges, sharing best practices, and identifying practical strategies you can implement immediately within your chapter.
11:30–11:40 AM – Leadership Session Debrief: Reconvene as a full group to share key takeaways, discuss insights from the breakouts, and hear final thoughts from Jacob before moving into lunch and afternoon sessions.

12:30–12:35 PM – Afternoon Kickoff: Welcome back and get ready for the second half of the Summit as we focus on chapter operations, strategy, and resources for the year ahead.
12:35–1:00 PM – Franchise Guide & Awards Program Overview: Learn how the PSE Awards Program has been adjusted to align with the Franchise Guide and the key operational practices that drive chapter success. We'll highlight what's changed, how chapters can use the Awards Program to measure progress throughout the year, and how Franchise Guide principles connect directly to recognition, growth, and long-term chapter success.

1:00–1:40 PM – Role Breakouts: Connect with fellow chapter leaders in similar roles to discuss the Franchise Guide, Awards Program, leadership tips, and practical ways to apply these concepts within your position. Share ideas, ask questions, and leave with a clearer understanding of how your role contributes to chapter success.

1:40–1:55 PM – PSE Updates & PSE Academy: Stay informed on important national updates, upcoming opportunities, and new initiatives. We'll also highlight PSE Academy resources available to support officer development, chapter operations, and member success throughout the year...featuring the brand-new PSE exclusive Leadership Development Program.

1:55–2:00 PM – Closing Remarks: Wrap up the Leadership Summit with a few final reflections and an exciting look at the fantastic year ahead for PSE chapters. We can't wait to see all that you'll accomplish this year!

Complimentary Registration for Key Attendees
Event registration is complimentary for the Chapter President, Vice President of Human Resources, and Faculty Advisor.
Note: For President and VP of Human Resources attendees to receive the full complimentary benefit package, attendees must be present for the entire event—from arrival no later than 2:30 PM Central Time on Friday, August 8, through the conclusion of programming at 6:30 PM Central Time on Saturday, August 9.
If full in-person attendance is not possible, alternate arrangements or delegation options should be discussed with PSE HQ.
Additional Student Leaders
Additional attendees can attend and are responsible for a $75 registration fee and hotel accommodations, subject to space availability. Please contact PSE Headquarters for more details at ps*@*se.org.

- Changes or cancellations: Must be made by July 23 to avoid a cancellation fee
